There has been a lot of work happening in the background lately on our Colour Selection Tool. We are excited to announce the release of Colour Selection Tool v2, which comes with a host of new features. While we’re eager to showcase what’s new, let’s first recap the features that were launched with Version 1.0.

Be able to change the colour and material of any surface of the 3D model

Interior and exterior views all contained in the one model

Over 1,000 colour choices available for walls, with floors and other surfaces offering similar customisation options.

A complete 3D model allowing clients to move freely throughout the house to see from all angles what their colour and material selections will look like.

Multimedia content, such as videos, can be displayed on in-model TVs, with any video being customisable.

Different façade options can be explored by opening them in a new window.

Immediate changes can be made to elements like bath type, front door, and garage door, with additional options for benchtops and cabinetry. The number of changes is limited to ensure fast loading times.

Users can take a screenshot of their selections for future reference.

Available on both desktop and mobile devices. Mobile use is dependant upon device as these models have a lot of 3D information which some older less powerful devices are unable to run the model

A newly designed, user-friendly colour menu for the 1000’s of paint options. This menu system can be used for other material/colour options as well.

Feature walls are now available in nearly every room. Choose the main wall colour then add feature walls. Every room can be different (although most people would not want this we have activated it as an example of what can be done)

Façade options now open within the original model on desktop (mobile it still has to open in a new window due to tech limitations)
